Komodo Dragon (Varanus komodoensis)
The Komodo dragon is a giant dinosaur like lizard that is native to the Komodo islands of Indonesia. I chose the Komodo dragon because of its unusual characteristics and behaviors. what attracted my attention was the way it hunted its prey. There are a lot of questions i have about this animal mainly where it originates from and is it a social or pack animal or not.

Eating our plate tectonics model
In the plate tectonics activity we used a candy bar as our model for tectonic plates because the inside contents was like the molten rock underneath the thin layer of crust on the surface of the earth. In the end we got to eat the candy bar which was great. The project was fun because it looked just like tectonic plate but also looked like a delicious candy bar which made us excited to finish the project. It was also fun because we didn't have to right to much it was more of like a fun educational activity.

The top layer of the Mars bar was the earth's crust and the thick gooey inside was the mantel the caramel was perfect because it was gooey and resembled molten rock. The Mars bar was a perfect representation of the crust and the mantel but not the other layers underneath. What I would expect to see when two plates pull apart is a valley or crater that goes down deep almost like if you cut your skin it's like the middle of the cut. A boundary is a convergent or divergent form of tectonic movement.

When I stretched the two parts away it started to brake of. That type of boundary is called a divergent boundary it is when two tectonic plates move opposite direction to each other.

When I pushed two pieces of the candy bar together they stuck to each other but what I think would happen in real life is that they fight for space creating tension thus when one gives up it creates an earthquake.
The questions I still have about this topic is-

- That how did they find the exact location of the shape of a tectonic plate?
- Is their a way of predicting large scale earthquakes?
- And how?
- How deep is the earths crust approximately and how did they find out?

Rhastafari
Rhastafari is a Jamaican religion that I made an I movie about I started off with choosing a belief system that I was curious about so I could learn something new. then I went to citelighter.com and gathered notes and facts. The next thing I had to do was plan out the script. after I did the script I made sure I could read it clearly and easily after I got done with that I prepared my I movie and got to work with gathering my images and sighting them properly otherwise my grade would be low. I then organized the photos and recorded my voice in sections so I had time to think. after that I made final touches to the I movie and exported it to Google drive.

A Day in the Life of an Ancient Eygiptian
I started by constructing my Voki avatar then I used sight lighter to gather our notes. After that I put them together to make a script I tried to use the Voki recorder but it wasn't working so instead I used AVR (awesome voice recorder) to record our script. After that we uploaded the recording to the Voki web site and it was finished. To see my Voki look down the screen.
Ancient Egypt Presentation
The ancient Egypt presentation was a lot of fun we started of with our meeting up with our assigned partners then. The we got to work. We started of with watching Mr Mongardi make a preview of using prezi it was quite simple but complex at the same time. After that we used sight lighter help us with the note tacking. I was assigned with Aadit and Henry they were good group mates and we worked pretty well together. We started to construct our prezy using the sight lighter notes.
We constructed the prezi with a series of slides that had photos, we had to sight the photos using an organized format. then we made a citations page. We started to practice our presentation. We had to memorize our presentation but I suggested that we memorize the main idea of our parts and that way we could say it smoothly. the presentation went well and was quite exiting. our presentation ended with a reasonably good grade.
